Tim Rogers' Heritage Railway Photographs
Tim Rogers' Heritage Railway Photographs
Welcome
This is an evolving site which I hope to fill up over the next few months. At present I am scanning in many of the slides that I took mainly in the 1980's of all sorts of traction. If there is space after I have done this then I will also add some of the prints that I took during this period.

Bogie Farce!!!
In May 1999 an 'equalising beam' fell off the bogie of 37421 whilst passing over the Menia Bridge in Anglesey. It was thought that all 37/4's that were working down the North Wales Coast at the time would be affected!! As a result the following few weeks became a no-heat 37 fest with all sorts of engines mainly 37/0's working the trains!! Below is a record of some of these engines working what was probably the last stand for no heat engines on service trains.
